Ok this is cute. The little houses and trees look great on hex tiles. Do the roads connect automatically or do you have to place the corner pieces by hand? Thinking about using it for a small strategy prototype.
Thanks! Coasts connect automatically (the Godot build() helper and the lookup table in grid.json handle them), but roads don't. You place them yourself: there's a straight piece and a gentle bend, and you rotate them in 60° steps. Both join at the middle of each hex edge, so any path made only of straights and wide bends lines up cleanly. There aren't junction or sharp-turn pieces yet, so if your prototype needs forks or crossroads you'd have to handle those yourself for now. If that's a dealbreaker, let me know which pieces you'd need.
